We are MacKenzie and Cody, half of the humans behind “We Bought a Cottage”, the other half being our twin toddler daughters! In January of 2021 we bought a cottage on a lake in northern Wisconsin.
Whether you own or rent, there are so many things you need to know to make the most of your time at the lake. We were lucky to have friends and family with experience who could give us advice, but wished there had been more information online. got all of the information we needed from family and friends who had experience. We wished there was an easier, faster way to learn what we need to know so we could spend less time working and more time playing.
